Through embedding two capacitors (start-up switching and run capacitors), the aforementioned advantage may be achieved. Often, start-up switching capacitor with a capacitor capacity of roughly a couple of times of the motor run capacitor, shall be discarded from the circuit after the motor reaches the nominal RPM and the motor run capacitor shall still remain in the circuit in the auxiliary coil in series connection. These capacitors are used in order to decrease the capacitor size and establishing high capacitor capacity values. Capacitor elements are produced from aluminum foils and loaded paper layers, saturated inside liquid electrolyte. The capacitor body has been made from heat resistant plastic materials. Some of the applications of electrolyte motor start capacitors include the following:
· Assisting in starting up the LV compressors, including but not limited to compressors of fridges and air conditioners,
· Facilitating starting up the HP motors, e.g. ¾ HP (horse power) and industrial lift engines,
· Applications in various types of heavy agricultural machinery, mills, heating/cooling systems for residential and commercial purposes.
Advantages of using Rahshad Motor Start Capacitors
1. Keeping IEC 60252-2 international standard
2. Variable capacity scope with smallest possible sizes
3. Existence of valve and highly secure sealing
4. Proper quality and reasonable price
Important points
- Electrolyte capacitors kept for long terms may be broken and lose their quality. They have a maximum expiry term of two years, after which the capacitors shall be inspected prior to be put into operation. In case of unavailability of testing means for the client, nominal voltage for 2 or 3 seconds and three times shall be repeated, while the same shall not exceed 10 seconds.
- Capacitor capacity and power factor measuring shall be made by taking benefit from the following circuit.
