Pulse Ignitor System
Pulse ignition systems utilize the winding of the inductive ballast to generate pulse. For this reason, the ballast must be capable of withstanding stress arising high impulse voltage. The additional design effort particularly applies to dimensioning creepage and clearance distances.

Softstart
The Ignitors are capable of withstanding any pulse loads that may occur because of extreme voltage and currents, as can happened particularly during the start of warm lamps or so called "flashing". The soft start protects the ignitor and ensures a maximum lamps life service.
